Samsung’s budget offering Galaxy On5 gets a price cut and is now available for purchase at only $50. The deal is being offered by Best Buy on the Black colored Galaxy On5. Notably, the $30 discount is being offered on the regular $80 price tag on the mentioned Galaxy device.
The 4G LTE Galaxy On5 smartphone was launched two years back with 5-inch 720p PLS TFT (similar to IPS) display. Underneath it packs in 1.5GB RAM and 8GB native storage which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 128GB.
The phone is powered by Quad-core Exynos 7570 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz and includes 5MP rear camera and a 2MP camera up front for clicking selfies. To keep the lights on, there’s a 2600 mAH battery. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Samsung may soon be releasing a 2017 variant of Galaxy On5 with an upgraded chipset and possibly more battery life. Also, a 64GB variant of Galaxy On5 may be on the cards, if a TENAA listing is to be believed.
