When is Black Friday in 2021?
Black Friday is held right after Thanksgiving in the United States. This year, Thanksgiving is on November 25th, which is a Thursday. So, the blockbuster Black Friday sale will take place on the 26th of November and engulf the following weekend as well. If that was not enough, you also have Cyber Monday to look forward to, which falls on the 29th of November. If you are looking to get your hands on the best Apple products without burning a hole in your pocket, be sure to be ready for Black Friday.

Does Apple do Black Friday sales?
As you may know, Black Friday is all about offering insane discounts and promoting never-seen-before deals. However, successful and sure-footed as they are, Apple does not feel the need to provide additional discounts during Black Friday Sales.
So, if you were hoping to log in to Apple.com and get the best of what Apple has to offer for a discounted price, you are out of luck. All you get is a Gift Card, which you can redeem at a later date.

Do Apple Stores do Black Friday?
Just like Apple’s website, the retail Apple Stores also do not offer you additional discounts during Black Friday sales. If you know an employee of an Apple Store, they might be able to get some discount with their employee ID, but that is pretty much it. Apple Stores will offer you nothing but gift cards during Black Friday.
Will iPhones go on sale for Black Friday?
Generally, iPhones do see significant discounts during Black Friday, thanks to the generosity of third-party retailers. Apple will not be offering any discounts on any products during the sale, but other retailers could bring the price to an all-time low.
It is to be noted that big discounts are generally reserved for older models. For example, iPhone 12 and 11 series are likely to see significant price cuts during Black Friday sales but the new iPhone 13 series might not.

Apple announced Series 7 in its September mega launch event. It is almost impossible to tell how big Apple will go this year. However, given how successful its year has been, we are expecting healthy gift cards this time around.
Should you shop at Apple Stores during Black Friday?
This depends on what you are looking for during Black Friday. If you have your eyes on an older iPhone, Watch, iPad, or even Mac, you should definitely check out third-party resellers. The likes of Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart tend to offer significant discounts during Black Friday sales, and they are likely to continue the trend this season as well.
Alternatively, if you are going after new Apple products, such as the new iPhone 13, Macbook Pro, or Apple Watch Series 7, going to the Apple Store might be a tad more beneficial. Apple is likely to offer Gift Cards with their new, top products, and it could be more value for money than the discounts you might be getting from third-party retailers.
How to get maximum discounts on Apple products on Black Friday
To maximize discounts on Black Friday, you should analyze your potential purchases. If you are looking for newly-released products, even third-party stores might not offer big discounts. In that case, we recommend checking out Apple’s retail stores or the official website for Gift Card offers. Other than that, you should steer clear of Apple stores and the official website. Third-party retailers will offer considerably better rates for your favorite Apple products.
