BlackBerry has issued an update to the BBM application for the Android devices. This new update brings the Material Design overhaul and some new security features for its users.
From the screenshots of the updated BBM app above you will get to know that the application looks much cleaner. There is a slide-out menu on the left of the app, a new quote message feature and a new way to organize the sticker collection.
Apart from the visual enhancements, the new update brings a new Privacy and Control Subscription to the messaging service that replaces the Timed and Retracted Messages Subscription. This new Privacy and Control Subscription service will bring private chat, retract messages and pictures, timed messages and pictures and edit message.
As per BlackBerry, the current Timed and Retracted Messages Subscription users will be updated automatically to the new messaging service without any additional charge. You can update to the latest version of the BBM for Android by clicking on the Google Play Store.
