AT&T LG V10 gets January security patch update, build H90021y

The AT&T LG V10 is getting a new software update right now, which features the latest Android security patch. The update installs the January Android security patch on the LG V10.

The software version for the update is H90021y and it is being seeded as an OTA to all AT&T customers. The build number is MRA58K and the update weighs just 33MB in size. There seems to be no other changes in this update, except for the security patch.

The LG V10 is still running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but it has been confirmed to receive the Nougat update. The carriers are still testing the Nougat software, so we are not sure when the update will be released.

While installing the new software update, make sure your device is sufficiently charged and connected to WiFi or AT&T cellular. If you haven’t received the OTA notification yet, head over to Settings>General>About Phone>Software Update and check for it manually.
