It was only last week Samsung rolled out the Nougat update to Galaxy Tab S2 in the US, and it seems like AT&T is already working on it. We say this as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with the model number SM-T8181A has been cleared by Wi-Fi Alliance today.
It’s only a matter of time now until AT&T officially rolls out the update to the tablets. Once the update is installed, users will be able to utilize all the features Nougat brings along with it.
For the unaware, you’ll get access to the multi-window split screen mode which makes for better multitasking especially on tablets. Also, the update brings along the revamped Notification shade which bundles similar type of notifications together.

Then there’s newly-designed Settings menu which makes accessing things clear and easier. Besides, the doze mode has also been improved to offer better battery life.
We expect the monthly security patch to accommodate the Nougat update when it’s launched sometime soon. As of now, a fixed date is not available. We will, however, keep you posted should something solid surface online.
