Asus ZenPad 7 and ZenPad 8 Tablets with Intel SoC Leak Online, Expected to be unveiled at Computex

Asus is all set to launch a new lineup of Android powered devices under the ZenPad range. As per the reports the firm is in plans to launch these new devices at the upcoming Computex 2015 show.

One of the devices that will be launched in this new lineup is Asus ZenPad 7 (Z170C) that will support 3G connectivity with the model number Z170CG. A couple of tablets have been spotted on online stores in Russia with an identical design as the FonePad devices.

The upcoming ZenPad 7 is said to be powered by Intel Atom x3 chipset paired with 1 GB of RAM. It bundles 8 GB or 16 GB of native storage space along with support for expandable memory via a micro SD card.

The tablet is likely to boast of an IPS display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, but it seems to lack HD playback support. There will be dual cameras, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi onboard this slate that will arrive in black and white color option. As per the pre-order listings on the stores, the ZenPad 7 will be released in July for 139 euro and 159 euro for the Wi-Fi and 3G variants.

The other tablet that passed FCC certification recently is the Asus ZenPad 8 (P01M). As per the reports, this device comes in two variants with the model numbers Z380KL and Z380C respectively. These units will have an 8 inch display with QXGA 2048×1536 pixel resolution and a similar design as the ZenPad 7.

The 8 inch siblings will be powered by more powerful Intel Atom Z3560 or Z3530 Moorefield chipset backed by 2 GB of RAM. The Asus ZenPad 8 (P01M) will bundle 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of native storage capacity onboard.

At the Computex 2015 tech show, we will get to know the complete details of these ZenPad tablets as they will be announced officially by Asus.
