Asus is rolling out a new software update for the Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie. The update brings some improvements to the phone’s camera. It is being seeded over the air and could take a while to reach all the users.
The firmware version of the new software is 14.0400.1711.173 and this is for the Zenfone 4 Selfie model number ZB553KL. We aren’t sure how exactly the camera is improved in this update, but you should definitely install it.
The Zenfone 4 Selfie, as the name suggests, is a selfie focused smartphone. You get, not one, but two cameras at the front, for that amazing selfie. There’s a 20MP unit and another 8MP camera at the front, along with an LED flash. At the back, there’s a 16MP camera.

So yes, the new update should improve the camera performance on the phone and provide even better selfies. A similar update was released for the Zenfone 4 last month. It could take a while for the update to show up for all users. If you have not received it, then you can manually check for it by going to Settings > About > System Update.
