Asus has started rolling out a minor update for the Transformer Pad TF300. The update has been live over the weekend and has already been downloaded by quite a few users. The Transformer Pad TF300 received the update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean a couple of months ago.
While the update does not change the Android OS version, which still remains at 4.1.1, users have reported they are seeing much faster boot-up time, and an overall improvement in general performance. It is also being reported that the tablet now connects to WiFi a lot faster after waking from  sleep mode. The software version goes up to 10.4.2.17 with this minor bump up.
So while it’s not anything major, it’s still worth getting the update for the improvements that it is said to bring about. If you haven’t updated already, check the System Updates option under Settings  >> About Tablet and fire away.
