Asus confirms ZenFone 4 Oreo rollout to begin in December

ZenCare confirm oreo

According to a new report, a stable version of Android 8.0 Oreo for the Zenfone 4 would be released some time this month. Now, that’s good news to anyone who owns the latest Zenfone smartphone.

Asus launched the Zenfone 4 series of smartphones in September this year, with Android 7.1.1 Nougat on board. In November, Asus had started testing a beta version of Android Oreo for the Zenfone 4 (ZE554KL).

And now, an Asus forum moderator at the ZenTalk forum confirmed that the company will be releasing the Oreo update in December. There is no exact date available for the release, but it’s good to know that the users will be able to enjoy the goodness of Oreo very soon.

Android Oreo expected release for all major devices

The Zenfone 3 would also be upgraded to Oreo, as we’ve already seen leaked screenshots of the new ZenUI. So far, only a few OEMs have released the Android Oreo update for their devices. One of them is OnePlus, who recently released the update for the OnePlus 3/3T.
