Android Pay is finally rolling out in Canada via Play Store

Looks like Android Pay could soon go live in Canada, as several users in the country are reporting seeing the app on their Pixel and Nexus devices.

The Android Pay app is being installed automatically via the Play Store. Unfortunately, cards are credit/debit cards are still not working. This isn’t the first time this is happening for users in Canada.

Last year in December, a similar thing happened, but Google stated that although the service is coming, it isn’t available. Now though, things may finally be changing and the wait may be over. It probably took this long because Google had to add support for all major banks.

Google had released the service in Belgium earlier this year. Around 10 countries in the world now have access to Android Pay. The service makes it easier to pay for items and it is very safe. We may soon have an official announcement from Google.
