Android 10 beta update is now available for Galaxy S10 sets in the US [One UI 2]

Last week, Samsung announced the imminent arrival of One UI 2 beta for the Galaxy S10 family in the United States. The South Korean OEM didn’t mention a tentative release date at the time, so, users were clueless whether Samsung would roll out the beta by the end of this month.

Thankfully, all the prayers have been answered, as we have on good authority that Samsung has indeed started rolling out the beta for S10 users in the US. Carrying software version G975USQU2ZSJ8 (S10 Plus)/G973USQU2ZSJ8 (S10)/G970USQU2ZSJ8 (S10e), the 2.3 GB beta also brings the October 2019 security patch.

Android 10-based One UI 2 doesn’t bring a visual overhaul, but there are a bunch of little tweaks that could make all the difference. An enhanced dark mode, improved Digital Wellbeing, a more distraction-less environment, and more — One UI 2 certainly seems like worth all the hype.

If you are on T-Mobile, Sprint, or unlocked S10 users, you could register for the beta simply through the Samsung Members app. Fire up the app > tap on the notifications (bell) icon in the top-right corner > look for One UI 2 beta announcement under Notices tab. After registering, look for a software update manually.
