Adobe has rolled out an update to its Adobe Reader app for Android, bringing with it support for storing documents within the cloud at Acrobat.com.
By introducing cloud storage to the Adobe Reader, users will now be able to edit documents, as well as add notes and comments, and any changes will automatically be saved to the Acrobat.com cloud. Users will be able to make changes on their mobile, and then reopen the same file on their PC with all changes saved, similar to the way Google Drive works.
Other improvements from this update include FormsCentral data support, highlighting vertical text – useful when working with cAsianertain language-based documents, and support for watermarks, enabling customers to secure their documents.
The update for Android users is available for free, at the Google Play Store, and if you already have Adobe Reader installed on your Android device, you should automatically get an update notification.
