2XL SuperCross HD launched on Google Play Store, costs $4.99

If you are a Motocross racing game fan, you now have another awesome game with eye popping HD graphics, to play on your Android device. 2XL Games, the developers of the official Ricky Carmichael Motocross game, have returned this time with an upgraded version of the original 2XL Supercross game with HD graphics.

If you have played any of the various Motocross games available for mobile devices, you would know what to expect in terms of gameplay and controls. The 2XL Supercross HD visuals are rendered well, and have a 3d-ish feel to them. I guess at least a 1 GHz processor with a minimum of 512 MB RAM would be needed to deliver a smooth, stutter free experience.  The game includes both off-road well as Supercross tracks, and you get to pit yourself against seven other bikers.

Checkout some of the cool features in this tite:

  • Supercross and Freestyle tracks designed by Motocross champion Stephane Roncada
  • Select your appearance from hundreds of different bike and rider combinations
  • 4 camera views including first person with handle bars
  • Select from 8 preset control schemes
  • Responsive tilt steering interface with tune-able sensitivities

So if you are comfortable only with a particular type of control scheme for Motocross games, you have the option of selecting from eight different preset schemes till you find the one that suits your playing style. You can even tune the sensitivity of the tilt-steering, which most of the time in these kind of games goes off the charts in its default setting.

So if you’re ready to don your helmet, and kick off into the grind, head over to the Google Play Store and download 2XL SuperCross HD. It will cost you $4.99, and if you’re on Verizon, you might want to know that you can transfer the purchase to your phone bill. In case you get the game, let us know how you liked it and whether you would recommend it.
