Lenovo Zuk Z2 Plus gets Nougat update out as Android 7.0 based firmware leaks

A firmware leaked out today on the web for the Lenovo Zuk Z2 Plus, model no. Z2131, that is based on Android 7.0 Nougat update, but with August security patch. Sure, this isn’t the latest build, and we’ve seen the Zuk Z2 Nougat in screenshots earlier, but it seems the latest firmware is where it should be, with Lenovo software development team.

Check out the screenshots below which show the UI, the build no. and the homescreen of the leaked Z2 Plus Nougat firmware.

The firmware is available for download at the link below, along with the installation guide provided at separate link. It seems flashing the Zuk Z2 Plus isn’t as easy as flashing the Nougat firmware on Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, but these links should help the courageous souls that wish to do so.

Unless you badly want the Android 7.0 Nougat update on your Z2 Plus right now, we say you wait up a month or so as it’s pretty close to release now. Good luck with flashing anyway!
