ZTE Blade X Max is a new $150 costing 6-inch budget phablet for Cricket Wireless

ZTE Blade X Max

A couple of weeks ago, a ZTE smartphone dubbed Blade X Max for Cricket Wireless surfaced on the internet giving us a peak at its spec sheet. And today, the company officially brought the smartphone Cricket Wireless.

In-line with the earlier rumors, the smartphone sports a 6.0-inch Full HD display with a layer of Dragontrail glass atop for protection from wear and tear. At the heart of the device is a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 chipset hooked to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.

It also accepts a microSD card (up to 128GB) in case you intend to expand the storage space further. The ZTE Blade X Max offers support for 3G as well as 4G LTE.

There’s a 13MP camera at the back for photography enthusiasts and a 5MP camera for selfies at the front. The smartphone boots Android 7.1.1 Nougat straight out-of-the-box.

Other features include a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, and support for Dolby Audio. A 3,400mAh battery backs the entire package with support for Quick Charge 2.0.

All of this at just $149.99. Clearly, the smartphone packs pretty decent hardware for what it’s worth at least on paper. Pick it if you are someone who consumes a lot of multimedia content on their smartphones.
