ZTE rolls out Axon 7 Nougat beta program in Germany

ZTE is launching a beta test program for Axon 7 Nougat update in Germany. The company is currently looking for 20 volunteers to help them beta test the beta firmware.

To get in on the Axon 7 Nougat beta program, you need to submit your name, device IMEI number, e-mail address, mobile phone number and your ZTE forum ID. All this info is to be sent to the following email address: [email protected]. Also, ZTE requires that beta testers speak English to keep communication channels short.

As per ZTE’s announcment, if by any chance, the Nougat beta build causes any damage to your device, it’ll be covered under the device’s warranty. Your device log will be automatically uploaded to the Wetest app which comes pre-installed on the beta software.

Lastly, ZTE requires that you use WhatsApp to communicate any bugs/issues or your suggestions to the software team at ZTE.

ZTE’s Nougat beta program is limited and doesn’t offer anyone willing to beta test the Nougat firmware on their Axon 7 devices a chance. However, if you’re keen on getting Android Nougat running on your device, you might wanna give the Lineage OS custom ROM a go.
