Zenfone 3 Max update brings a new power saving app ‘Asus Power Master’

Asus’ battery phone, Zenfone 3 Max, is receiving a new OTA update which installs ASUS Power Master app, which enhances the battery performance. The OTA update is being rolled out as we speak.

As the name suggests, Zenfone 3 Max packs in a massive 4100mAh battery which gets further enhanced with the new Asus Power Master app installed by this latest firmware update.

Arriving as software version 13.1.0.56, the new update also tags along a bunch of new features, other than the power saving app. Giving a better UX on Zenfone 3 Max, the update enhances fingerprint sensor sensitivity and touch panel display performance. For photography lovers, the update brings improved camera performance.

The update also fixes the customer service call issue in Italy, at the same time updating LED notification effects during charging and PLMN ID list.

The OTA update may take a while to appear on your Zenfone 3 Max device. If you haven’t received the updation yet, you can check for it manually by heading to Settings > About device > System updates.
