It seems we are going to witness another entrant in Sony’s Xperia-line of smartphones soon. Yesterday, the Indonesian equivalent of FCC posted the retail name of the leaked Sony LT22i Nypon as Xperia P. The same source had, a week ago, posted the retail name of the Sony ST25i Kumquat as the Xperia U.

The ‘Xperia P’ looks just like the Xperia S except for its innards where it has a NovaThor U8500 chipset doing the grind. Also, the screen and camera are comparatively less capable.

The Xperia P is supposed to launch in April with a price-tag of 370 Euros. Most probably it will be announced in the MWC at Barcelona in the coming few-weeks along with the Xperia U.
