The Sony Xperia AX, which is the Xperia V specially for the Japanese market and is to be sold through NTT DoComo, hasn’t gotten any specific release date or pricing, but we now know at least which colors the device will be released in, thanks to catalog for the Xperia AX.
As seen in the image above, the Xperia AX will come in turquoise, while, pink, and black colors, which is quite a good range of colors for a device that looks quite attractive. As for its specs, the Xperia AX will sport a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, a 720p 4.3″ HD Reality display with Sony’s Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, 13 megapixel rear camera, NFC connectivity, 16GB internal storage as well as microSD slot, clear audio thanks to Clear Audio+ technology, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. An update to Android 4.1 is to come later this year.
