Oops, Xioami did it again! After reportedly listing upcoming Mi Max 2 on its official website, Xiaomi has once again accidentally put up another yet-to-be released device, the Redmi Pro 2, on its site which was there for a brief period and subsequently pulled down. But the time interval was enough to be screenshot which has gone viral now.
We wonder, was this an accident or a deliberate move to innocently tease its upcoming product, at the same time not endorsing it officially. Whatever it is, this unexpected appearance of the Redmi Pro 2 on the official website has given enough juice to tipsters for now. The screenshot reveals a few key specs which we can take as officially confirmed.

So, this successor to Xiaomi Redmi Pro will sport 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080p. The phone will be powered by Snapdragon 660 processor, which is quite an upgrade from the MediaTek chipset carried by Redmi Pro.
The battery on the new Redmi Pro 2 has been slightly upgraded to 4100mAh from Redmi Pro’s 4050mAH. Xiaomi will be keeping the dual rear camera set-up intact in Redmi Pro’s successor as well with a 16MP sensor. The phone which went live was seen packing in 3GB RAM. But there should be 4GB and 6GB versions as well, we guess Finally, the price is stated as 1199 yuan which should be for the 3GB model, while the other versions if released will cost more.
