Successor to Xiaomi Mi5s, the Mi 5c sports a 5.5-inch FHD screen with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. It has a sleek metal finish and round 2.5 D edges with rear fingerprint scanner. On the imaging front, Xiaomi Mi 5C will flaunt a 12MP/8MP camera combo and most probably house 3500mAH battery. The smartphone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI 8.

Xiaomi will also launch its in-house Pinecone chipset today alongside the Mi 5C. The Pinecone processor will come in two versions- V670 and the V970. The first one, V670, is an octa-core chipset paired with the Mali T860 MP4 GPU clocked at 800MHz while the second chipset, V970, also includes 8 cores paired with he Mali G71 MP12, which is clocked at 900MHz. And in all probability, it seems like that the Mi 5C would include the Pinecone V670 processor.
