Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition Android Game release may be further delayed

Baldur’s Gate is a very well known name for any fantasy RPG player worth his/her salt. The legendary RPG which is being remastered for release on Android smartphones and tablets, was originally scheduled for a September 18th release, which got delayed due to further refinements and fixes that were required.

Subsequently a November 30th date was mentioned on the official website, which has since been changed back to TBA (To Be Announced). No other updates have been released as yet by Beamdog, the developers, at this point. However, Beamdog has reportedly promised to make up for the delayed release with an undisclosed bonus gift, for those who pre-order the game.

Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition for Android Tablets contains the following enhancements:

  • New Adventure: The Black Pits
  • New Character: Dorn Il-Khan as an in-app purchase
  • New Character: Neera the Wild Mage as an in-app purchase
  • New Character: Rasaad yn Bashir
  • New Player Voice sets as an in-app purchase
  • New Player Portraits as an in-app purchase
  • Multiplayer support between all platforms
The game is priced at $9.99 and will be released on the Google Play Store. We have our antennae tuned, and will keep you posted as soon as we pick up more on this.
