Truecaller, the company behind the application that shares the same name has come up with a new app for the Android devices called Truemessenger. This new app aims to make SMS smarter and avoid spam messages to a great extent.
The Truemessenger app does this by verifying the identity of the sender of the SMS messages and lets you mark certain senders as spammers in the contact list. This way, the app will prevent the specified contacts from sending you SMS.
Similar to the functionality of Truecaller, this new app adds a protection layer to prevent annoying numbers from sending spam messages to you constantly. The app is capable of shifting the market messages to a separate folder dedicated for the purpose. The Truemessenger will help you have a clutter free and clean message list without the unwanted ones.
The application also comes with added protection as it automatically assigns the photos, nicknames and other information to the contacts from the social media. The message tone of this app is composed by Swedish DJ Avicii. As of now, the Truemessenger app is available only in India.
