White Galaxy Note 9 is expected to launch in Taiwan on Nov 23

In order to spice up sales, Samsung has the practice of adding different color options to its flagship devices even after their official launch. Recently, it launched Ice Blue color variant of the Galaxy S9 in China and now it seems that the South Korean giant is set to launch a white color variant of its incumbent flagship, the Note 9. And this might happen quite soon.

Several reports emanating from Taiwan say that a white-colored Note 9 might see the light in the country on November 23. However, the news about the White Galaxy Note 9 doesn’t come out of the blue. Earlier this year the rumors did the rounds that South Korean tech giant will introduce a Note 9 in a white paint job. Now it seems, back then, the reports were true.

So far, depending on markets, the Galaxy Note 9 is available in five hues, namely Midnight Black, Metallic Copper, Lavender Purple, Ocean Blue, and Cloud Silver. If the reports about the white-colored Note 9 turn out true Taiwan will be the first market to get this color variant. Based on the previous reports, the new color may be called ‘Pure White’.

Having said that all, it must be noted that we are still awaiting any press images of the white-colored Note 9 for the official confirmation. The current reports are, in fact, based on a leaked image which surfaced earlier this month. Nevertheless, the local media outlets are buzzing that the Galaxy Note 9 in white is all set to go on sale beginning this week Friday. They are backing their claim by saying that it has been confirmed by Samsung Taiwan. We hope this is true.

Besides the change in color, the specs and features of the device are expected to remain intact. However, it is not known how much the new variant will cost. Also, there is no word if the device will ever be carried over to other markets. An official announcement is surely due in this regard. So, stay tuned for the next update.
