Wildfire S Headed to US Cellular, has already cleared FCC

Successor to last year’s mid-range phone HTC Wildfire, the still-a-mid-range phone Wildfire S just got friendly with the CDMA networks too — after it was launched on T-mobile and AT&T. What it means is that maybe US Cellular is going to announce the all-new Wildfire S soon, but the paper-possibility remains that this bird could fly to nests of Cricket, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, or even the Verizon.

HTC Wildfire S is a budget friendly android phone and is mediocre when to comes to specs. But we know how low priced these sort of phones are and thus, it remains a good phone, still — one of the best choice for those who’re looking to upgrade from dumbphone to a smartphone, and don’t wanna burn their wallet too much for that.

HTC Wildfire S is powered by Qualcomm’s age-old 600 MHz processor, 3.2 inch HVGA screen, 512 MB RAM, WiFi, 3G, etc. The device won’t keep up with you if you load too much content form the android market on it (apps, games, live wallpaper, etc.) but for limited use, it’s quite good.
