Vivo Xplay 6 update brings 8X camera zoom, bug fixes and security updates

Vivo is seeding out a new firmware update to Xplay 6 devices. Arriving as software version 1.19.2, the update is a minor one and brings with it a couple of enhanced features.

The Vivo Xplay 6 minor update brings 8X zoom to the camera which enhances the 12-megapixel and 16-megapixel resolutions of the rear and selfie shooter respectively. Other additional features which tag along with the update include bug fixes and security updates.

Vivo Xplay 6 was launched in November last year aimed at the photography enthusiasts. The curved display and IMX 362 sensor equipped cameras on board added to the premium internal hardware which boasts of quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and a whopping 6GB RAM. Internal storage has been kept fixed at 128GB.

Powered by a 4080mAh non removable battery, the Vivo Xplay 6 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Nougat update for the phone is expected to release soon.

  1. Their pt10 looks interesting as a flagship; but i dont get too excited based on durabilty only… i am waaay more os an AGM guy; ruggerized PPR phones: to me just for the price in a rugged its quite a better product :S sorry… good article, Nuzhat!
