Verizon LG G Pad 7.0 LTE receives February security patch, build VK41025A

Verizon has released a new minor software update for the LG G Pad 7.0 LTE. The update installs the February Android security patch on the tablet.

The G Pad 7.0 LTE was released in August of 2014, making it a very old tablet. It still runs on Android Lollipop and these security updates are the only updates it will continue to receive. The latest build VK41025A is now available as an OTA.

If you’re a Verizon customer and own the LG G Pad 7.0 LTE, then you should have received the update notification. Haven’t got the notification? You can check for the update manually by going to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates on the tablet.

The LG G Pad 7.0 LTE has a 7-inch display, a Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 4000mAh battery. Before you install the update, make sure the tablet has more than 50 percent battery and is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or Verizon LTE network.
