LG Enlighten Budget Phone

Yet another Verizon android phone, eh! While the geeks at Verizon are holding there breath for their Galaxy S2 variant, or the LTE-supporting Droid Bionic, a new phone has shown up. It’s the LG Enlighten that won’t enlighten you to anything if you’re just looking for a high-end phone to purchase. But that’s not to say LG Enlighten won’t find customers ready for it. In fact, it would impress fairly good to those looking for a android phone without spending too much.

Physical keyboard aside, LG Enlighten also packs in a decent processor (probably the one that powers HTC G2) and latest Android OS v2.3 (Gingerbread), and both these features make it a good recommendation. but lets not forget its looks, which although aren’t any ground-breaking, but are surely anytime better than other options one gets in this range — for example, Samsung Admire (for MetroPCS).

And it’s releasing pretty soon, on August 25. So those who are looking to buy a budget friendly physical qwerty keyboard android phone at Verizon, LG Enlighten deserves a thought.

LG Enlighten Specifications:

  • 800 MHz processor
  • Physical Qwerty keyboard
  • 3.2 inch HVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels
