Verizon Blackberry Priv devices have started receiving a new software update. The update brings with it January Android security patch and is being rolled out as we speak.
Arriving as software version AAJ049, the update gives you the latest Android security patch. It also enhances device performance and fixes bug issues. Therefore, it is recommended to download the update.

The update being OTA can be downloaded once the notification pops up on your Blackberry Priv device or else you can manually check for it by heading to Apps > Settings > About phone > System updates. But before hitting the download button, get your handset charged over 50 percent and get connected to a WiFi network.
