Upcoming Motorola phones Moto G5S, X4, C, C Plus, E4 and E4 Plus revealed in a leak

Wondering what Motorola has been up to after the release of its mid-range smartphones Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus in February? Well here’s the answer. The Lenovo-acquired Motorola Mobility is working on a bunch of smartphones and the list has been leaked.

Renowned tipster Evan Blass has tweeted a leaked image showing the complete list of smartphones Motorola plans to release this year. Two days back, a video presentation of Moto X4, which we have been calling Moto X 2017, was also leaked. The image of the phone list seems to be shot at the same presentation.

Now we know there will be at least 9 Motorola smartphones released this year. As seen from the list, Motorola has decided to target all the sections, from flagship to mid-range to budget smartphones.

Starting from below, the entry-level Motorola phones to be launched this year will be two phones from Moto C series and two from Moto E series. Moto C and Moto C Plus will be launched with 5-inch display and 5-inch HD display with massive 4000mAH battery respectively. Similarly, there will be a Moto E and a Moto E Plus. The former will get a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved edge and Moto E Plus will come with a bigger 5.5-inch HD display. Interestingly, the Moto E Plus will be aimed at heavy duty users with an impressive 5000mAH battery.

In the mid-range category, we already have Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. Two more will be added to the G series viz Moto Gs and Moto Gs Plus, which Blass says will be the two variants of G5 and G5 Plus respectively. The Moto G5S will be equipped with a 5.2-inch FHD display and a full metal body while the Moto G5S Plus will have a 5.5-inch FHD display with dual cameras.

Finally, we have the Moto Z Play and Moto Z Force. The former will flaunt a 5.5-inch FHD display while the latter will have Motorola’s ‘ShatterShield’ display and support for 1 GHz LTE speeds. Both will also come with support for Moto Mods accessories.
