Those of you nerds looking to port Ubuntu to HTC EVO, be glad to know it’s possible. Guys at htcevohacks.com have found a way and they’ve also gotten instructions sets and files you need to be able to do this. Here’s how to run Ubunto on HTC EVO.

BTW, like any ROM, it’s not always smooth and there are bugs to be aware of. We would suggest you to get yourself warmed up at the hack thread on the XDA Forums, where people are discussing this hack in details. Once you’re acquainted with relevant facts and if your desire to run ubunto on EVO remains alive, then go for it.

Although step by step instructions are not hard to follow, but you do need knowledge on ‘how to push via adb’. So, of you’re comfortable with all this, have a go. Oh! BTW, we haven’t tested it, nope!
