How To Turn Off Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Always On Display

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge has the Always-On display feature that we first saw on the 1st Gen. Moto X. It lets you view time, date, missed calls, messages, etc. stuff right on the screen even when your phone’s display is off.

You might be wondering if Always-On display would negatively affect the battery life, but thanks to the Super AMOLED display on your S7 and S7 Edge, the black pixels don’t consume battery and hence the impact on battery is almost negligible.

Still, if you wish to turn off Always On display on your S7 and S7 Edge, because you like it that way, then here’s how:

How to Turn Off Always On Display on Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Display.
  3. Select Always On, and turn off the Always On toggle from there.

Hope this helps you. Happy Androiding!
