How to Disable / Turn Off Google Allo Notifications

Messaging on Google Allo is fun, but you don’t wan to get distracted from your work because your friends are on a group chat and it’s buzzing your phone with notifications from Allo.

To avoid a situation like that, you can turn off notifications for a particular chat on Allo or for the whole of Allo.

How to Disable Notifications on Google Allo

1. Open Google Allo app.
2. Touch & hold the conversation you want to turn off Notifications for, a pop-up menu will appear on screen.
3. Select Turn off notifications from the pop-up menu.
4. If you rather want to turn off all notifications from Google Allo (for all chats), do the following:
   1. Touch the hamburger menu on top-left corner on Google Allo app main screen.
   2. Select Settings from menu.
   3. Turn Off Notifications toggle to disable notifications for all chats on Google Allo.
