Vivo Xshot X710 India Price and Release details leaked

vivo xshot x710

Vivo is a very admired brand — which, btw, is sort of rare these days — as it has one cool habit of packing in very pleasing features and hardware into its new phones, that successfully challenge what is available in the market at the moment. Its Vivo Xshot is one such Android phone, that we’re now hearing that it’s going to be available in India very soon, at the price of INR 28,980 ($460 approx).

The model no. of Vivo Xshot is x710, and one can expect the device to launch in India in a week or two. It’s already reached some retailers.

Vivo Xshot fights directly with Oppo R5, which is another beautiful phone measuring incredible 4.85mm in thickness, priced at INR 29,990 ($475 approx), and is currently available on pre-order at Oppo stores till January 15, 2015.

Vivo Xshot is a powerful phone, and a beautiful one, and naturally has some distinctive features up its sleeve. Here is an incredible f1.8 aperture boasting new Sony IMX214 sensor equipped 13MP rear camera, that’s miles ahead of the industry standard of aperture f2.2 (f2.0 in some phones, including that of HTC). That’s a great addition, as it helps a lot with speed, and also with blur and focus game in photography.

Its camera also has a child mode, which makes sounds before taking the snap that makes the child look into camera upon hearing it, and that’s when it recognizes the face and shoots in an instant. Brilliant, right? There is also Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and dual LED flash helping the rear camera take snaps that can be as best as you can get from a mobile device.

Vivo Xshot’s front camera is no slouch either, as it’s got an 8MP shooter with its own LED flash for best selfies.

Xhot is powered by 2.26GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor (same as Galaxy S5 and HTC One), and houses 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage (up to 128GB microSD card supported) in a body that’s 7.99mm thin, relying on 2600 mAh battery for the beat, and weighs 148 grams.

Vivo Xshot comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display, thus a PPI of 424, which is all good.

Lastly, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is what you get on Vivo xShot, coupled with company’s own FunTouch custom skin. No KitKat (poor one, Vivo!), nor any word on Lollipop update, even though xShot is quite capable.

That’s all about Vivo Xshot specifications, it’s easily one great bundle for the price.

Would you buy Vivo Xshot?

It’s no doubt Vivo Xshot is a beautiful phone with amazing specs. When you such good cameras with your phone that’s powerful too, it makes a good case for the buy. If you really want a very good camera performance, go for it. But if you want your phone to look just the best, then Oppo R5 is what you might be looking for.

What do you think about Vivo Xshot?
