With Samsung’s October 24 event already known to us, one could rightly expect the devices on purpose to get approved at US regulator FCC well before that. And they just did. Even though Samsung has remained silent on what it’s going to announce at its Oct 24 event in New York, it’s easy to guess – more so, looking at the invite image – that it could be US Galaxy Note 2 unveiling only, and thus it makes perfect sense for some US-bound Galaxy Note 2 variants to appear at FCC.
Of the 3 listings of phones in image above, the first one, codenamed as SGH-i317, should be the AT&T Galaxy Note 2 while the middle one, dubbed as SCH-i605, could be the Verizon Galaxy Note 2. The third and last spot goes to T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2, SGH-T889. While the FCC listing obviously doesn’t make things anything official as regards release or anything, but it does means that the release is getting nearer – Samsung has already announced the Galaxy Note 2 for US carriers, FYI.
In case you are wondering why the hell Sprint’s Galaxy Note 2 isn’t here, well, it’s just a coincidence that these 3 Galaxy Note 2 variants got found out at FCC together, and unluckily, the Sprint’s wasn’t.
