Sony discontinues Xperia T3, M2 Aqua, E4g in Ireland

Sony Xperia T3

It seems like Sony is discounting a bunch of Xperia series handsets in Ireland. We say this as the official product pages of the Xperia T3, M2 Aqua, and E4g were missing from Sony’s Ireland website.

To recall, the Sony Xperia T3 and Sony M2 Aqua were launched in 2014 while the Sony Xperia E4g saw the light of day in 2015. All the three handsets are entry-level offerings from the company and it totally makes sense to discontinue these old products.

Sony has recently unveiled its interactive touch projector called Xperia Touch in Europe. The name itself is self-explanatory. But, in case you are wondering, the Xperia Touch is nothing but a portable projector except it allows you to interact with the content you project on a surface via touch.

The Xperia Touch is priced at £1,299.99 ($1646) in the UK. Folks in other regions across Europe will have to shell out €1,499.99 ($1672) to purchase the Xperia Touch. Currently, it is available only in European markets but will be launched in various other regions shortly.
