Usually, the Galaxy Note phablet lineup will be launched in the third quarter of the year, precisely at the IFA tech show in Berlin. This time, the Galaxy Note 5 will be launched in September, revealed the executive Vice President of Samsung, Rhee In Jong during a conference call on Wednesday.

He stated that the Samsung Pay mobile payment system will be delayed to September from July. While talking of the Samsung Pay, the executive said that it will be first employed on the next high-end smartphone from Samsung that is the Galaxy Note 5. This confirms a September launch of the fifth generation phablet.

The IFA 2015 is slated to happen on September 4, 2015 in Berlin and this is when we can expect the phablet to be announced. Also, Claire Kim, an analyst at Daishin Securities Co. in Seoul agreed with the idea. The analyst stated that the new service is said to be deployed on the next Galaxy Note phablet.

During the conference call, Rhee added that the firm is expecting that 15 percent to 20 percent of the Samsung owners might use the Samsung Pay mobile payment service. Samsung acquired Loop that will make the firm superior than Apple and Google as Loop Pay makes use of the magnetic stripe at the back of the cards unlike the other retailers’ POS systems that use NFC.

Moreover, 90 percent of the retailers already have the swiping devices that read these cards. Samsung Pay can be readily used in over 10 million retail locations.
