The launch of Samsung Galaxy S9 is significant for many reasons, especially with its record-setting camera. But looking back at the flagship from last year, it seems that the Galaxy S8 is still more than a decent smartphone to rock around.
While we can’t bring you the upgraded camera and processor, what we can bring you is the software that runs on the Galaxy S9 to your older Galaxy S8. As a matter of fact, you can get the Galaxy S9 apps and wallpapers on even the older Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge with this guide, whether running Android Nougat or Android Oreo.
Get Galaxy S9 apps
Samsung has updated and redesigned all of its apps for the Galaxy S9, but you can get them now. In the download below, you will get the Message app v5.0.00.128, My Emoji Maker, and the Camera app v8.0.75.
All three of the ported apps are available in APK file format, so you can install them directly without a custom recovery. You will need to enable Unknown Sources from the Developer Options though.
