There are the usual requisites for getting the update, including a stock non-rooted firmware, data connection and 50% battery life. If you haven’t received the notification for the update yet, don’t forget to do a manual check for it from the Settings » About phone menu on the phone.

  1. During the first week of using my HTC One S, it was very fast and reliable, but for some reason, it recently became very slow. When I updated my one s yesterday, I thought there would be improvement, but there isn’t. Why is my phone so much slower than before? I called T-mobile yesterday before doing the update and did everything they said in terms of making sure that my settings were correct.
