Great news for Redmi 5 Plus users – MIUI 10 is finally available on your phone! The Global Stable ROM has been released as version 10.0.4.0.OEGMIFH and is now available for download on your Redmi 5 Plus phones.

System
The new update brings with it the updated Android security patch for Redmi 5 Plus to November 5, 2018.
Phone
The new update has fixed the Second SIM card undetectability issue in Italy.
Camera
Camera crashes have been fixed as well as the issue of camera freezing when using Portrait Mode on the front camera.
Settings
Fixed crashing when moving files from the Bluetooth folder. Also, the update has fixed the inability to switch to DND mode automatically after reboot.

How to download the update?
First, create a backup of all your important data. Then, to download the update, simply launch the “Updater” app on your phone and tap on “Check for updates”. Your phone will then display that an update is indeed available with version 10.0.4.0OEGMIFH. Simply tap on “Install” to download the OTA update.
Another way of updating your phone is by downloading the Recovery ROM and Fastboot ROM through these links. We would recommend you to go for the recovery ROM, as it is easy to install. You can find the installation guides here.
I got the 10.0.4.0OEGMIFH update today and it works fine. But I thought that now the USB connection to Mi PC Suite is also improved. This seems not to be corrected. I use the Redmi Note 5 and the Suite 3.2.1.3111.
