Verizon specific Motorola Kinzie with Snapdragon 810 SoC pops up on GFXBench

In the recent years, Motorola has been doing a great job. The firm is expected to launch capable flagship Moto X smartphone even this year and a few other devices as well. However, the firm has not been able to keep all the details of the upcoming devices under wraps as it gets circulated in numerous rumors and speculations.

While the Moto X (Gen 3) model is expected to be launched in late August or early September, the firm seems to be prepping other devices that are expected to be launched in the meantime.

Back in May, a couple of Motorola devices with the model numbers XT1585 and XT1578 circulated in rumors. Now, these devices have made their way to the headlines again as they have been spotted at GFXBench database.

It is the XT1585 that has showed up on the benchmark database and it appears to carry the codename Kinzie. The database reveals that the device will arrive with a 5.5 inch Quad HD 1440p display and an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset backed by 3 GB of RAM and Adreno 430 graphics unit.

The third generation Moto X is listed to pack 21 GB of storage that is 32 GB of default memory capacity. The other aspects of the device as revealed by the benchmark listing include Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, a 20 MP rear snapper and a 4.8 MP front facing selfie shooter.

This Kinzie is claimed to be a Verizon device by the Reddit user who revealed the model numbers previously. As per the user, the Kinzie is likely to be launched on Verizon and he also suggests that the device is similar to what the benchmark has listed.

The name Clark that he attached to the device Motorola XT1578 is likely to arrive with a Snapdragon 808 chipset and it is also to launch on Verizon. There are claims that the Kinzie could be the new DROID and Clark to be the Moto X (Gen 3).
