A couple of mid-range LG smartphones have been launched on Boost Mobile on Monday and they are the LG Tribute 2 and Volt 2. These are the successors to the yesteryear models and they arrive with updated specifications and rear facing keys as well.
The LG Tribute 2 boasts of a 4.5 inch IPS display with a FWVGA resolution of 854×480 pixels. It is powered by a Snapdragon 410 processor teamed up with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of native storage space that can be expanded further using a micro SD card slot.
Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop update, the Tribute 2 features a 5 MP main snapper at its back and supports LTE connectivity as well.
The LG Volt 2 is also based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and it features a 5 inch display with HD 720p resolution. The device has an 8 MP main camera at its back and it is equipped with a 2,540 mAh battery. The processor, RAM, storage and connectivity aspects of the Volt 2 are similar to the Tribute 2.
The Tribute 2 is priced at $99 without a contract whereas the Volt 2 is priced at $149.99 without contract. The devices are priced affordable and they are worthy offerings for the Boost Mobile customers.
