The Verizon LG G Vista and the LG G Pad 7.0-inch are two devices receiving an update today. An OTA has already started rolling out for users of these two devices.
The software version of the Verizon LG G Vista update is VS88012A, while that of G Pad 7.0 is yet to be confirmed by Verizon. What adds to confusion is the fact that Verizon didn’t mention any messaging fixes for the G Vista, while it clearly stated the same for G Pad as expected.
Anyhow, G Vista update packs in few new features. The full changelog includes: update Google applications, notification pop-up for Auto-sync toggle, better email syncing and updated LG Apps.
If you own either of G Vista and G Pad, then you should be receiving a notification about the update soon. If not, try to force the OTA update from Settings > About device > System update > press the ‘check for update’ button every now and then.
