Late last month, HTC was claimed to be working on a new powerful smartphone belonging to the HTC Butterfly lineup. Now, the device has been launched officially and it is dubbed HTC J Butterfly HTV31. The device will be released in Japan via KDDI this summer.
The HTC J Butterfly HTV31 has features from both One M9 and One M9+. With a design similar to the HTC Butterfly lineup, the device is waterproof and dust proof. The device is preinstalled with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.
The HTC J Butterfly HTV31 boasts of a 5.2 inch WQHD display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and it is energized by a Snapdragon 810 octa core processor with 64 bit support. The processor is teamed up with 3 GB of RAM for multitasking.
In terms of imaging, the HTC offering comes with a 20.2 MP main snapper with Duo Camera arrangement support 4K video recording. The device has a 13 MP front facing selfie shooter as well. It has expandable micro SDXC storage support up to 200 GB and it is fueled by a 2,700 mAh battery.
The pricing of the HTC J Butterfly HTV31 has not been announced by the firm and we expect it to be out when the device is released.
