Google introduces new Free App of the Week section to promote apps on Play Store

Google has upped its promotion game by introducing a new section on Play Store. As the name suggests, the new Free App of the Week section promotes one free app every week. Introduced a week back, the first app to be advertised was Ultimate Guitar Tabs & Chords, which is originally priced at $2.99 again.

As the highlighted app is there to remain for a week in the new Google Play Store section, the new app to replace the Ultimate Guitar Tabs & Chords is Card Wars – Adventure Time. This app can be downloaded from Google Play Store absolutely free now while its original cost is $2.99.

This new section in Google Play Store does more than promoting free apps. It helps game lovers and users to avail great apps for free also saving the time required to search for likeable free items.

The new section can be accessed both on desktop as well as on mobile. All you need to do is just scroll down on the Apps page of the Play Store to find the new section. If the Free App of the Week matches your taste, you can go for it, or else, wait for next week to see what Google brings in to the section.
