Galaxy A5 & A7 2017 to feature 12MP front cam and edge display

Leaks and rumors about the Galaxy A series 2017 devices aren’t stopping and it probably means that an official announcement about the devices is near, which will probably be CES 2017 to be held in Vegas next month.

As per a recent leak from ET News (Korea), the Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 2017 may feature a 12MP camera on the front. This is contrary to the previously rumored 16MP camera on the front of both the devices.

Also, contrary to the Galaxy A5 and A7 2017 press renders leaked earlier today, today’s rumor claims that Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 2017 editions will have curved Edge display. We had speculated this when first images of Galaxy A5 2017 leaked back in November, but yesterday’s press renders showed us rather flat (2.5D curved) display on the sides only, not Edge displays.

ET News also revealed that the Galaxy A3 2017 will have a 8MP camera on the front. This makes room for the device to go for a budget segment competition from the likes of Moto M, OnePlus X and others.

For the selfie shooters, the new Galaxy A series 2017 phones are going to be a delight. The previous generation of Galaxy A series phones (2016 editions) featured only 5MP camera on front and a 13MP camera on back.

Today’s leak also claims that the 2017 Galaxy A series devices will have waterproof and dustproof body and USB Type-C connector.
