Get Beats Audio on any Android device with the Beats Audio Installer app. Root required though.

If you’ve been regretting not getting an HTC device and missing out on that awesome sounding, bass enhancing Beats Audio tech that you just experienced on your friend’s phone, you may not have to regret your decision any longer.

Developers motioncoding has released the Beats Audio™ Installer on the Google Play Store which lets you install the Beats Audio drivers on any Android device, and experience a more enhanced and high-quality audio experience on your Android smartphone. Needless to say, since the app actually downloads the Beats Audio drivers and replaces the default audio drivers with them, root access is requited on your device.

[Important] Just a word of caution — While installing the Beats Audio seems to give excellent results with quite a few high end as well as low end and mid range devices, it has also been reported to frequently create soft bricking issues with some variants of the Galaxy S3 and the Samsung Galaxy Advance, as well as major battery drain issues with the original Droid Razr.

Hence it is advisable to do a thorough search on the compatibility with your particular model before going ahead and using the Beats Audio installer app. And if you happen to find that this works perfectly with your device, you can go ahead and download it from the link below.

  1. Will it work for international samsung galaxy S3 I9300?

    1. The S3 isn’t on the list of “Working devices” so it will be best to create a backup of your ROM in ClockworkMod recovery, then try using the app, so you can restore your ROM if it soft bricks your S3.
