Galaxy S10 with 12GB RAM rumored along with six colors, 4000mAh battery and 93.4% STB ratio

Galaxy-S10 with 12GB RAM rumored

2019 may be the year that redefines flagship competition among OEMs and elevates it to a new dimension altogether. Why do we make such a bold claim? Remember, we had previously reported that Galaxy S10 may match Mi Mix 3 with its 93.4% STB (screen-to-body ratio)? Another report suggests that it might as well be true and not merely a rumor.

The same report via AllAboutSamsung also suggests that Samsung’s next flagship phone would be fuelled by a heavy-duty 4,000mAh battery, which is on par with what most other OEMs are also accommodating in their phones. For what it’s worth, the budget flagships like the Poco F1 and OnePlus 6T also pack in 4,000mAh and 3,700mAh battery modules.

More interestingly though, another report via Weibo has emerged suggesting that Samsung is planning to position itself a step ahead of its competitors by offering a massive, never-heard-before, 12GB RAM module in its 5G variant of the Galaxy S10 series, called probably the S10+. This surpasses the already jaw-dropping for a smartphone, the Mi Mix 3’s 10GB RAM variant that also comes with 5G tech, which was groundbreaking in itself when announced.

A third report from Onleaks also suggests that the Galaxy S10 phones would come in six different colors, the same number of options they offered with the Galaxy S9 Plus. There is even a green color in the pipeline, which not only means that one color would be replaced away, but also that the green variant could be the flagship color if Samsung takes a page from Huawei’s book — given how the latter featured green variant in its advertising materials for the Mate 20 Pro.

It is worth noting, however, that all these news are products of rumor-mills since Samsung is yet to finalize its designs, which is also rumored expected to happen towards the end of November. Having that said, one must also keep in mind that there’s no smoke without fire.
