Angry Birds Star Wars HD is now available for free on Play Store

Those with a penchant for playing HD games will be delighted to know that Rovio has made the much in demand Angry Birds Star Wars HD available now for free on Google Play Store. Notably, the game was previously available for $1 on the Play store.

Rovio launched Angry Birds Star Wars in the Google Play Store as early as 2012 in two versions. A free version with ads and an HD version with no ads costing $2.99 which later was reduced to $1. This now has been made absolutely free.

The free HD version of the game also fixes some minor issues to give gamers a better experience. After installation of the free Angry Birds Star Wars HD, the version is bumped to 1.5.10. It can be downloaded on all Android devices with KitKat OS or above.

Meanwhile, early this month, Angry Birds Transformers also received a new update which bumped up the version to 1.25.6. The update brings a host of new features to the game including Spark Run feature, a character called Blaster and Cassettes accessory. You can grab it over at Play Store.
