Acer Iconia Tab A110 Specs confirmed officially. Release date and price unavailable right now.

Acer Iconia Tab A100 Specs

It’s 7-inch, it’s got Android 4.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed, but it’s not a Nexus 7, it’s the new Acer Iconia Tab 110. Almost a Nexus 7, I’d say, but it supports microSD card of upto 32 GB, lack of which in Nexus 7 is very a common cry among the users of Google’s ultra low-cost Nexus tablet.

Other specs include 1GB RAM, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor (1.3GHz in Nexus 7), 8GB memory, 3420 mAh battery (4320 mAh in Nexus 7), HDMI, micro USB port, etc. which are cool except that the Tab 110 is in direct competition to Nexus 7 and the only plus it has against the N7 is microSD card support, but it still falls behind marginally in processor, display and battery, which isn’t good.

The price and release date are not known at the moment as Acer has remained silent on this. We will be sure to update you onc emore info becomes available, so do check back.

And btw, an online retailer is already selling the Acer Iconia Tab 110 for £179 with shipping estimated only after October 1, 2012. Of course the price is too high, we would expect Acer to keep price to $200 at the max (which is Nexus 7’s too) or maybe even undercut it by $20-50. At $150, it would be simply very cool.
